Commercial strategy and insights lead

In this role, you connect internal performance data with market developments, consumer insights and competitive intelligence. You identify where the opportunities lie and translate them into brand, category, assortment and innovation strategies.You will work closely with Sales, Business Development and Product Development, acting as a strategic partner to both internal teams and senior client stakeholders. You will lead strategic sessions, develop business cases and help shape new propositions and innovation plans. You will also help drive the use of generative AI and data tools within commercial strategy and insights.

Wie zoeken wij

We are looking for a strategically strong professional with 4–7 years of experience in areas such as strategy consulting, commercial strategy, category management or an agency environment, preferably within FMCG, beauty or retail. You combine commercial acumen with a sharp analytical mindset and know how to reduce complex challenges to their essence. You think ahead, spot opportunities others may miss and know how to turn insights into action.

Waar moet je aan voldoen

- Strong strategic and commercial thinking

- 4-7 years of relevant experience

- Experience in market, category, consumer and competitor analysis

- Affinity with brand, category, assortment and innovation strategy

- Experience with performance management and business case development

- A practical and forward-looking approach to AI and data

- Strong communication and senior stakeholder management skills

- Fluent English; Dutch is a strong advantage

- An entrepreneurial mindset and a drive to develop new business
